Saudi Minister of Finance Heads Kingdom’s Delegation at 125th Meeting of Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan headed the Kingdom's delegation at the 125th meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council, held virtually on May 14, 2026, and chaired by Bahrain's Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman Al Khalifa. The meeting, which included GCC Finance Ministers and the GCC Secretary-General, reviewed progress in the GCC Customs Union, adopted the Gulf Joint Market Committee action plan for 2026–2028, and discussed guidelines for GCC participation in international events. Participants also addressed regional developments and ways to strengthen joint coordination among member states.
