Saudi Ministry of Finance Organizes Workshop on ‘Open Data as a Strategic Source for Innovation and Growth’

The Saudi Ministry of Finance organized a workshop titled 'Open Data as a Strategic Source for Innovation and Growth' on June 21, 2026, in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh. The workshop aimed to raise awareness of open data's role in promoting transparency, innovation, and data-driven decision-making, and included sessions led by SDAIA specialists on the National Open Data Platform. Data offices from entities across the financial ecosystem, including the General Authority for State Properties and the General Organization for Social Insurance, took part.
