"Commerce" Carries Out 15,000 Inspection Visits in Madinah as Part of Its Hajj Season Plan

”التجارة" تنفذ 15 ألف زيارة تفتيشية بالمدينة المنورة ضمن خطتها لموسم الحج

The Ministry of Commerce's inspection teams conducted 15,550 inspection visits to commercial establishments and shopping centres in the Madinah region from 1 Dhu al-Qi'dah to 4 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season. The visits covered the central area of the Prophet's Mosque, Masjid Quba and Qiblatayn, the Dhul Hulayfah Miqat, the Haramain Train, markets, commercial centres, gold and jewellery markets, service centres, fuel stations, and roads leading to the Prophet's Mosque. The Ministry continues its work throughout the Hajj season to monitor supply conditions in markets and retail outlets and to protect consumer rights.
