The fifth meeting of the economic and social track of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council was held in London, chaired overall by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with the economic and social track itself led by Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and UK counterpart Jonathan Reynolds. The two ministers discussed the "GREAT FUTURES" initiative, launched in Riyadh the previous year, aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation across 13 economic sectors. The council, established in March 2018, announced a new Saudi-British strategic partnership aligning the UK's modern industrial strategy with Saudi Vision 2030, focused on five priority areas: financial connectivity, life sciences and health technology, industrial growth, creative fields, and innovation in education.
