"Commerce": Recall of 1,778 "BAIC BJ40" Vehicles Due to a Defect in the Braking System

The Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 1,778 "BAIC BJ40" vehicles, model years 2021 to 2025, due to a defect in the brake booster that could affect the braking safety system while driving and increase the risk of an accident. The Ministry asked owners to check whether their vehicle's chassis number is included via Recalls.sa and to contact the local agent, Petromin Cars, on the toll-free number (8004420020) to have the necessary repairs carried out free of charge.
