The National Program for Combating Commercial Concealment conducted 3,785 inspection visits across various regions of Saudi Arabia during December 2025, based on indicators and suspicion of commercial concealment. The visits targeted compliance verification of commercial establishments and covered several sectors, including vehicle repair, retail of accessories and clothing accessories, serviced apartments, watch retail, restaurants, and general residential construction. A total of 123 preliminary suspected concealment cases were recorded, with violators referred to competent authorities for investigation and deterrent penalties, which include imprisonment of up to five years, a fine of up to five million riyals, and seizure and confiscation of illicit funds, in addition to ancillary penalties such as establishment closure, activity liquidation, commercial register cancellation, ban from commercial activity, deportation of concealed parties, and public shaming.
