The closing conference of the "GREAT FUTURES" initiative was held in London alongside the fifth meeting of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council's economic and social track, attended by the largest-ever Saudi trade delegation of 195 business leaders and 33 government officials, plus over 320 British company representatives and about 30 British officials. Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi and UK counterpart Jonathan Reynolds announced a new Saudi-British strategic partnership across five priority areas, and Al-Qasabi noted the two countries aim to raise trade to £30 billion by 2030, from over £16 billion last year, with 1,689 British companies operating in the Kingdom (75 having chosen Riyadh as a regional hub). The conference featured 38 agreements and announcements worth over SAR 20 billion and five workshops.
