On Wednesday, 19 November 2025 (28 Jumada I 1447 AH), the Ministry of Commerce, together with the General Directorate of Financial Intelligence and the Permanent Committee for Counter-Terrorism and its Financing, organized a virtual workshop for practitioners of the precious metals and gemstones activity in Madinah region. The workshop covered mechanisms for reporting suspicious transactions and the application of targeted financial sanctions related to terrorism financing, and was attended by institutions, companies, and specialists in the precious metals activity in the region.
