The Ministry of Commerce has invited consumers and establishments to share their views on a draft unified contract for residential kitchen installation, published on the 'Istitlaa' platform of the National Competitiveness Center. The draft contract, developed in partnership with the Permanent Committee for Consumer Protection, aims to regulate the contractual relationship between the two contracting parties by establishing a fair balance of rights and obligations, setting binding general terms and conditions, and reducing disputes. The contract comprises 17 articles covering matters such as kitchen transport and installation, design modifications, agreed compensation, warranty and maintenance, and contract termination without a court ruling, and it carries the status of an executive deed enabling direct judicial enforcement.
