"Commerce": More Than 459 Million Essential Commodities Pumped into Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites to Serve the Guests of the Most Merciful

The Ministry of Commerce announced that total quantities supplied to markets and sales outlets in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites since the start of Dhu al-Hijjah exceeded 459 million essential commodities, including bread, drinking water, dairy, juices, refreshments, and ice. Bread supplied exceeded 60 million loaves, bottled water exceeded 220 million units, dairy/juices/refreshments exceeded 164 million units, and ice exceeded 15 million blocks. Daily average supplies were more than 10 million loaves of bread, 33 million water units, 28 million dairy/juice/refreshment units, and 2 million ice blocks. The Ministry said it continues supply and regulatory monitoring of markets and outlets.
