The National Program for Combating Commercial Concealment continued inspection visits across regions and economic activities during the second quarter of 2025, with joint oversight teams conducting more than 8,000 inspection visits covering central food and consumer markets, retail of luxury goods and clothing accessories, retail of sanitary ware, retail of electrical and electronic appliances, restaurants with service, and men's salons, among others. The Ministry of Commerce received 1,704 reports of suspected commercial concealment during the quarter, referred 147 violations to the committee reviewing violations of the anti-concealment system and 13 violations to the Public Prosecution, with total fines issued during the quarter reaching 2,189,600 Saudi riyals.
