Ministry of Commerce publishes the Public Opinions Report on the Implementing Regulation of the Precious Metals and Gemstones System on the "Istitlaa" platform

The Ministry of Commerce has published the public opinions and suggestions received on the draft Implementing Regulation of the Precious Metals and Gemstones System on the "Istitlaa" platform, dated 05 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447H. The draft aims to align with amendments to the system issued under Royal Decree No. (M/87) dated 1446/4/3H (6 October 2024), by establishing regulatory provisions for the trade and manufacturing of precious metals, gemstones, and related plated and inlaid items, along with oversight controls. The Ministry's specialist team analysed all submitted opinions and published the key findings and decisions in the results section of the project on the Istitlaa platform.
