The Ministry of Commerce organizes an awareness workshop for more than 40 companies and establishments engaged in precious metals and gemstones activities

"التجارة" تنظم ورشة عمل توعوية لأكثر من 40 شركة ومؤسسة تزاول أنشطة المعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة

The Ministry of Commerce, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Financial Investigations and the Permanent Committee for Combating Terrorism and its Financing, held a virtual workshop on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, for practitioners in the precious metals and gemstones sector. The workshop covered mechanisms for reporting suspicious transactions, improving report quality, registration steps on the "Taqassi" platform, and requirements related to targeted financial sanctions and risk assessment related to terrorism financing, with participation from 43 representatives of companies and institutions in the sector.
