"Commerce" Blocks a Non-Compliant E-Store Operating from Outside the Kingdom for Selling Counterfeit Gold Bars
"التجارة" تحجب متجرًا إلكترونيًا مخالفًا من خارج المملكة لبيعه سبائك ذهبية مغشوشة
The Ministry of Commerce blocked a non-compliant e-store operating from outside the Kingdom on 26/2/1447 AH after detecting that it was advertising counterfeit gold bars made of copper and gold-plated to deceive shoppers, targeting the Saudi market with offers at half the market value. The store was immediately blocked in coordination with the relevant authorities pursuant to the E-Commerce Law and its implementing regulations. The Ministry urged consumers to verify the credibility of online stores before purchasing through the certified e-store inquiry service on the Saudi Business Center platform, and to avoid dealing with unknown websites, stores, or accounts.
