The National Program for Combating Commercial Concealment conducted inspection rounds targeting women's tailoring workshops in Riyadh, based on indicators of suspected concealment, to verify compliance with market rules and refer suspected violators to the competent authorities. Under the anti-concealment law, penalties can reach imprisonment of up to five years, a fine of up to five million riyals, and seizure/confiscation of illicit funds after final judicial rulings, along with subsidiary penalties including closure of the establishment, liquidation of the activity, deletion of the commercial register, prohibition from commercial activity, collection of zakat/fees/taxes, publicizing the violation, and deportation of the concealed person with a ban on return to work in the Kingdom.
