The Ministry of Commerce has published the public opinions and proposals received on the draft Real Beneficiary Rules for companies subject to the Companies Law and its implementing regulations. The draft aims to raise corporate transparency in alignment with international and domestic requirements related to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, and countering the financing of weapons proliferation. It also seeks to establish a database within the Ministry for registering and maintaining real beneficiary data.
