"Commerce": 5,298 Inspection Visits to Assess the High Availability of Food Commodities and Quality of Services Provided to the Guests of the Most Merciful over 8 Days

The Ministry of Commerce's inspection teams conducted 5,298 inspection visits as part of their operational plan for the Hajj season during the period from 1 to 8 Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH in the Holy Sites and the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. The visits aimed to monitor the high availability of food and supply commodities and verify compliance of commercial establishments and retail outlets with consumer protection regulations. Coverage included the Holy Sites, the central area of the Grand Mosque, Miqat points, markets and commercial centers, retail outlets, gold and jewelry markets, service centers, fuel stations, and roads leading to the Two Holy Mosques.
