"Commerce": More than 11,000 Inspection Visits in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites over Two Weeks

"التجارة": أكثر من 11 ألف زيارة تفتيشية بمكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة خلال أسبوعين

Ministry of Commerce oversight teams conducted 11,114 inspection visits in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season, during the period from 1 to 13 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH. Visits covered the Holy Sites and the central area of the Grand Mosque, Ihram miqat points, commercial markets and centers, sales outlets, gold and jewelry markets, service centers, and fuel stations in the holy capital and Jeddah and Taif governorates, aiming to monitor the high availability of food and provisioning goods for pilgrims and verify commercial establishments' compliance with consumer protection regulations.
