"Commerce" organizes an anti-money laundering and terrorism financing workshop for precious metals activity practitioners in Riyadh

The Ministry of Commerce, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Financial Investigations and the Permanent Committee for Combating Terrorism and its Financing, organized a virtual workshop on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, for precious metals and gemstones practitioners in the Riyadh region. The workshop covered mechanisms for reporting suspicious transactions and applying targeted financial sanctions related to terrorism financing, including registration on the 'Tuqassi' reporting platform. The initiative is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to raise private-sector awareness of regulatory updates and compliance with anti-money laundering and terrorism financing requirements.
