"Commerce": 14,000 Visits to Verify Compliance of Establishments with the Controls of National Day 95 Discounts

The Ministry of Commerce conducted 14,164 field visits to markets and shopping centers across all regions of the Kingdom to verify compliance with the controls and conditions for National Day 95 discounts and offers, checking discount licenses, their display to consumers, and pricing disclosures. The ministry's monitoring teams issued 348 immediate sales violations against non-compliant establishments under consumer protection regulations. It called on consumers to verify the legitimacy of discounts by scanning the barcode shown on the license. The report is dated 02 Rabi' Al-Thani 1447 AH.
