The Ministry of Commerce announced the results of the second phase of three evaluations covering automobile agents (24 agents), electrical and electronic appliance agents and distributors (18 agents/distributors), and e-commerce stores (220 stores), aimed at raising service quality, strengthening compliance with approved standards, and improving consumer experience. The automobile agent evaluation used 4 main criteria across 16 indicators (e.g. availability of high-demand vehicles, waiting lists, maintenance duration, spare parts availability); the appliance evaluation used 11 criteria (e.g. consumer rights compliance, after-sales/maintenance service, handling of complaints); and the e-commerce evaluation used 10 criteria (e.g. store verification on the Saudi Business Center platform, return/refund/shipping policies, a visible "contact us" icon).
