"Commerce": 6,300 Visits to Verify Establishments' Compliance with the Controls of National Day Season 95 Discounts

The Ministry of Commerce conducted 6,319 field visits to markets and commercial centres across all regions of Saudi Arabia to verify establishments' compliance with the controls and conditions of discounts and promotional offers for National Day 95. Inspection teams checked discount licences, their display to consumers, adherence to licensed discounts and offers, discount percentages, price tags or electronic price readers showing prices before and after the discount, and clear disclosure of exchange and return policies. The Ministry urges consumers to verify the validity of discounts and offers by scanning the barcode on the licence to view discount details, including type, percentage, duration, and establishment data.
