The Ministry of Commerce's oversight teams conducted more than 12,900 inspection visits to outlets selling Eid supplies, Zakat al-Fitr items, and confectionery across the Kingdom's regions, as part of its inspection plan ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Inspectors checked compliance with price-tag display, matching of posted prices to point-of-sale prices, and adherence to rules on commercial discounts and offers. The Ministry stated it would continue intensive inspection tours during Eid and take regulatory action against violators. The report is dated 29 Ramadan 1447 AH.
