The Ministry of Commerce conducted more than 1,300 inspection visits across the Eastern Region during September 2025, covering markets, sales outlets, and warehouses in the region's cities, governorates, and centres to verify commercial establishments' compliance with discount and competition regulations. Inspection teams monitored compliance with consumer protection and sales service regulations, and regulatory measures were taken against violators. The Ministry affirmed that inspection visits will continue across all regions of the Kingdom to protect consumers and ensure compliance with its regulations.
