Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi chaired Saudi Arabia's delegation at the 114th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, held from 1-12 June 2026. In a plenary address on Thursday, 4 June 2026, he emphasized responsible artificial intelligence in shaping a more inclusive, productive, and sustainable future of work, noting the Kingdom's declaration of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence, and welcomed the ILO Director-General's report on AI and decent work. He also referenced the national skills platform and initiatives such as the labor market strategy, the Wage Protection Program, and the Qiwa platform, which he said serves more than two million establishments and 12 million private-sector workers across the Kingdom.
