International Cooperation: Building Safer and Stronger Labor Markets
التعاون الدولي: بناء أسواق عمل أكثر أمانًا وقوة
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development describes international cooperation as a key pillar of labor market development, citing an ILO estimate that about 169 million people worldwide are migrant workers. During the third Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC) in Riyadh, with participants from over 100 countries, the Ministry and the ILO launched the third phase of their joint cooperation program, and the Ministry and the World Bank announced a report titled "A Decade of Progress" comparing labor market conditions in 2015 and 2025. The Ministry also signed a memorandum of understanding with the British Skills Partnership under the Saudi-British Strategic Business Council.
