الدول الأعضاء للمنظمة العالمية للمياه يؤكدون التزامهم المشترك بإيجاد حلول مستدامة لتحديات المياه ضمن "أسبوع المياه السعودي"
Member states of the World Water Organization affirmed their joint commitment to unifying international efforts and strengthening cooperation in the water sector, during a meeting of the heads of delegations of its eight founding states held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel alongside Saudi Water Week (28 June to 2 July) in Jeddah. The founding states — Greece, Kuwait, Mauritania, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, and Spain — reviewed progress since signing the organization's charter in Riyadh in May 2025, discussed priorities, and prepared for its first General Assembly. The meeting also reviewed institutional progress, governance model, and a four-year strategy built on research and innovation, data and reporting, policy and governance, and financing and investment.
