Deputy Minister of Environment Launches Two Platforms for Employing Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Protein Food Supply Chains and Agricultural Production

The Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, launched two digital platforms via the "Nama" platform: a smart monitoring platform for the protein food supply chain (covering slaughterhouses) using AI to improve transparency, quality and food safety, and an AI-based model for sustainable agricultural production to forecast crop demand and improve resource management. The launch took place during the second day of the Digital Government Forum 2025, held November 5-6 in Riyadh and organized by the Digital Government Authority.
