As part of its "Khair Ardhona" campaign encouraging consumption of local food products during Ramadan, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture stated that poultry meat has high nutritional value as a source of protein, vitamins, and essential minerals, and is easy to prepare for Ramadan meals. The Ministry noted that poultry meat production exceeds 1,310,000 tons, meeting consumer needs particularly during the holy month.
