Retail Outlets Flourish with More Than 31,000 Tons of Locally Produced Peach Fruit

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture reported that local peach production exceeds 31,000 tons annually, concentrated in Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Asir, and Al-Baha, with varieties including Early Grand, Desert Red, Florida Prince, Tropic Sweet, and Tropic Snow. The announcement was made as part of the ministry's "Halwa Bimawsimha" campaign to raise awareness of seasonal local fruit and improve the marketing of local produce, alongside ministry support for farmers through technical guidance, financing facilitation, and modern agricultural technologies.
