The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, Chairman of the Board of the National Center for Palms and Dates, launched the "Blessed with Dates" campaign at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, an initiative by the Center to promote the use of dates in daily food dishes and beverages, highlight them as a natural sweetener, and support their status as a healthy food choice and part of Saudi culture and identity. The campaign engages restaurants, cafes, and bakeries in creating date-based products, and includes a digital booklet with over 200 local recipes based on dates. Saudi date production in 2025 exceeded 1.9 million tons, and the Kingdom is home to more than 37 million palm trees.
