Photographers' Lenses at Saudi Environment Week 2026.. A Creative Journey Attracting Exhibition Visitors to Biodiversity in the Kingdom

At the Saudi Environment Week 2026 exhibition in Riyadh, held under the slogan "Your Impact is Green", interactive activities showcased the Kingdom's biodiversity, including a photography corner displaying images of plants (such as opium poppy, harmal, hanwa, adna, and dhirm) and the shakh plant found in Asir, along with wildlife such as the Arabian oryx in Najran, the mountain gazelle in the Imam Saud bin Abdulaziz reserve in Makkah, the crested lark in Hail, herons in Jazan, hoopoe and Arabian woodpecker and kestrel and other birds in Asir, a flat-toed lizard, a Mediterranean tiger butterfly, a tropical spider in the Eastern Province, the Arabian leopard in Al-Ula, and the Arabian gazelle in Farasan Islands, Jazan. Photographers also captured landscapes such as Rawdat Khuraim, the palm farms of Al-Ahsa, the mountains of Asir, the Nafud desert in Qassim, farms in Asir, Lake Al-Asfar in the Eastern Province, Red Sea coastal wetlands and mangroves in Jazan, and the Al-Lawz mountains in Tabuk. The exhibition runs for a full week across the Kingdom's regions.
