The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture reported that water supply in the Kingdom exceeds 16 million cubic meters per day, describing it as the largest globally in production. Achievements cited include rehabilitation of the first million hectares of degraded land and planting over 159 million trees under the Saudi Green Initiative's target of 10 billion trees, weather forecast accuracy increased to 88.81% in 2025 from 88.07% in 2024, and waste diverted from landfills rose to 18% of the 134-million-ton annual output, compared to 5% in 2018.
