Deputy Minister of Environment Launches the Digital Field Schools Project to Empower and Enable Small Farmers, Women, and Youth in the Kingdom

The Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, launched the Virtual Digital Field Schools project in Saudi Arabia, aiming to transform traditional agricultural education and extension into a comprehensive digital system enabling small farmers, women, and youth interested in agriculture to access knowledge and training via smart applications. The project's implementation includes establishing 39 digital field schools equipped with modern technologies, developing a digital agricultural extension platform, conducting field and digital workshops, and building strategic partnerships with the private sector, international organizations, and universities.
