Saudi Arabia's Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, stated that global water security challenges require accelerating the shift from dialogue to implementation, highlighting the importance of international partnership for integrated water resources management to maximize the impact of the World Water Forum that the Kingdom will host next year in Riyadh. This came at the second consultative meeting of stakeholders for the 11th World Water Forum, held during the first Saudi Water Week in Jeddah from June 28 to July 2, 2026, attended by around 11 ministers responsible for water, ahead of the forum's convening in March 2027.
