Convening of the Second Session Meetings of the Saudi-Nigerian Joint Committee in Niamey

The second session of the Saudi-Nigerien Joint Committee was held in Niamey, Niger, on April 28-29, chaired on the Saudi side by Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Agriculture Dr. Suleiman Al-Khatib, to discuss developing bilateral relations. The two sides agreed to form three sub-committees covering legal/political/diplomatic/security affairs; economy, trade, industry, communications, customs, mining, energy, transport, agriculture, livestock, hydraulics, environment and sanitation; and education, health, culture, crafts, tourism, scientific research, refinancing, and social/religious values and population affairs. The committee's first session was held in Riyadh in 2022.
