The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture affirmed the importance of strengthening partnerships with innovators and global institutions to build resilient, sustainable food systems, during its participation in the Global Summit on Agtech Innovation held in Dubai. Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation Dr. Abdulaziz bin Malik Al-Malik said Saudi Vision 2030 and the 2022 national R&D&I directions guide the ministry's work on water and food security. He noted the ministry has identified 14 priority technology groups and over 300 technologies covering the environment, water and agriculture sectors.
