"Environment" launches the AI assistant "Saqr" to enhance governance and field oversight of water sources and their uses

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture launched the AI assistant "Saqr," an output of the "Hafiz" digital platform for water resource sustainability, to develop field oversight tools for water sources and their uses. Saqr gives violation-control officers rapid, accurate access to the Water Law, its executive regulation, and related regulations, helping determine the correct procedure per violation type, location, and licensing status. The Ministry stated it will speed up enforcement procedures, reduce procedural errors, and unify regulatory understanding.
