The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program and the National Observatory for Women Sign an Agreement to Enhance Rural Women's Empowerment

برنامج التنمية الريفية الزراعية المستدامة والمرصد الوطني للمرأة يوقعان اتفاقية لتعزيز تمكين المرأة الريفية

The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program ('Reef') and the National Observatory for Women signed a cooperation agreement at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's headquarters in Riyadh, witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, and the Acting President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Fowzia bint Suleiman Al-Amro. The agreement aims to enhance women's empowerment in rural and agricultural development and support their participation in achieving sustainable development in line with Saudi Vision 2030 targets. It covers exchange of technical expertise, joint events, research and studies, training programmes to build rural women's capacities, and the formation of a joint working team with designated liaison officers to coordinate implementation.
