The Kingdom Affirms the Importance of Enhancing Digital Transformation in the Water Sector to Support Water Security and Raise the Efficiency of Resource Management

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture affirmed that digital transformation in the water sector has become an economic, environmental, and national necessity, supporting water security and turning data into strategic decisions, during a panel session titled "Digital Transformation in the Water Sector: From Data to Decision" held as part of the first Saudi Water Week in Jeddah from 28 June to 2 July 2026. The session covered the Ministry's data lake, artificial intelligence applications, and progress in green data centers following completion of their first phase.
