Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Launches the 'Our Countryside Has Come Closer' Campaign to Support and Empower Small Farmers

نائب وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة يُدشّن حملة "ريفنا صار أقرب" لدعم وتمكين صغار المزارعين

The Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, launched the "Our Countryside Has Come Closer" campaign to support and empower small farmers and enhance access of their agricultural products to sales outlets and retail stores. The campaign is part of the Saudi Rural Academy's efforts to qualify farmers' products to modern display and distribution standards, and focuses on developing agricultural value chains by linking farms with market requirements and distribution partnerships. Dr. Maha bint Mohammed Al-Dahi, CEO of the Saudi Rural Academy, said the campaign is a practical step toward empowering small farmers and connecting them with markets.
