"Environment" Relaunches an Electronic Service via the "Nama" Platform to Regulate the Return of Grazing Camels and Livestock Owned by Non-Saudis to Their Countries

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has relaunched, via the "Nama" electronic platform, a service to regulate the return of grazing camels and livestock owned by non-Saudis to their home countries, in support of rangeland conservation and the Saudi Green Initiative targets. Owners and herders who were unable to return their full livestock numbers may apply electronically for a return permit, subject to conditions including submission through the Nama platform and compliance with all approved quarantine procedures under the GCC veterinary quarantine and animal welfare regulations and their implementing rules in the Kingdom. Applicants must not proceed to a border crossing until their request is approved and a return appointment is scheduled. The Ministry urged all non-Saudi camel and livestock owners to submit return requests through the Nama platform to avoid further measures.
