The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture called on all segments of society to promote responsible practices toward animals during winter, including protecting them from rain and cold and providing warm shelter, water, and food, as part of its "Shitana Sah" awareness campaign. The Ministry recommended checking car engines before starting them, using the car horn before driving off, providing clean water, providing wind and storm shelter, avoiding overloading animals, and monitoring their health and vaccination.
