Under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, the National Center for Palms and Dates launched the "Snack on Dates for the Better" campaign to promote date flavor in retail food products. The campaign involved more than 10 food companies and more than 20 restaurants and cafes, alongside schools and delivery apps. The source notes Saudi date production exceeds 1.9 million tonnes, with export value of nearly 1.7 billion riyals to 133 countries, making the Kingdom the world's top date exporter.
