Minister of Environment Inspects the Readiness of System Projects in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in Preparation for the Month of Ramadan and Inaugurates the Cloud Seeding Research Aircraft

The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, inaugurated a new cloud-seeding research aircraft that serves as an airborne laboratory to measure atmospheric elements and support cloud-seeding research, and inspected National Aquaculture Group (NAQUA) projects and the experimental farm project run by Estidamah Center in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. During the visit he also reviewed National Water Company development projects in Makkah and the Holy Sites, a groundwater and surface water purification unit run by the Saudi Water Authority in Al-Lith, and progress on the Wadi Al-Lith dam project presented by the General Authority for Irrigation, and chaired a meeting of the region's environment-sector agencies to review development project plans.
