The Amir of Madinah Patronizes an Executive Workshop to Explore and Innovate Practical Solutions for Meeting Housing Needs

Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Amir of Madinah Region, patronized an executive workshop dedicated to exploring and innovating practical solutions for the region's permanent and temporary housing needs, held with participation from government entities, the non-profit sector, endowment bodies, and specialized housing and social development associations. The workshop reviewed detailed data on family housing needs across Madinah and its governorates, examined completed and ongoing projects, and discussed pathways including ownership projects, construction on available land, activation of idle units, usufruct arrangements, rental support, and greater non-profit sector involvement through the "Joud Al-Iskan" platform. The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of governance, participatory executive mechanisms, and collaborative initiatives to accelerate the delivery of appropriate housing solutions for the most vulnerable families in the region.
