Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha said Saudi Arabia is a trusted global partner in building the AI ecosystem, speaking during a panel titled "AI for Global Prosperity: Aligning Innovation, Inclusion, and Trust" at the Saudi House pavilion during the World Economic Forum in Davos. He cited energy, capital, infrastructure, and human capabilities as key enablers, noted the shift from a 20th-century energy focus to a 21st-century computing and AI focus, and pointed to the Kingdom's investments in advanced computing and chip and memory architecture, alongside Saudi-led initiatives in healthcare, energy, and advanced chemistry.
