Communications Minister Meets with Chinese Tech Giants, Visits KAUST Innovation Hub in Shenzhen

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha led a high-level Saudi delegation on visits to major technology firms in Shenzhen, China, focusing on partnerships in AI, digital infrastructure, robotics, cloud solutions, and digital entrepreneurship. He met with Huawei's David Wang on AI and cloud computing cooperation, with 20 gifted Saudi students who completed an AI training program hosted by Huawei with Mawhiba, with UBTECH Robotics executives on smart robot deployment, and with Intellifusion's Dr. Chen Ning on AI inference chips, computer vision, and smart city solutions. He concluded the tour at the KAUST Innovation Hub in Shenzhen, meeting entrepreneurs from the ninth cohort of the Tech Founders program.
