Minister of Communications Meets Entrepreneurs at Najran Chamber and Commends Winning Projects of the Tech Hackathon

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, H.E. Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha, met with entrepreneurs and investors at the Najran Chamber of Commerce, discussing opportunities in the digital economy and the role of digital enablers in supporting startups and technology investment. He reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to empowering entrepreneurs in technology-driven sectors and stressed the importance of digital infrastructure, national capability development, and public–private partnerships. He subsequently met with winning teams of the Najran Tech Hackathon, supported by the Digital Entrepreneurship Center (CODE), where ten innovative prototypes were showcased, including a smart medication box, an interactive educational mat, augmented reality training solutions, the "Cyber Shield" AI cybersecurity platform, a digital health platform, and a cooperative training platform.
