Communications Minister Meets with Chinese Government Officials and Leading Technology Companies to Strengthen Partnerships in AI and Space

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, accompanied by CST Governor Eng. Haytham AlOhali and Saudi Ambassador to China Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, held meetings in China with senior government officials and technology executives to discuss partnership opportunities in artificial intelligence, digital economy, technology transfer, and space. Alswaha met Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun on AI, digital economy, and talent exchange; CNSA Administrator and Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Shan Zhongde on space technology cooperation; Moonshot AI leadership on large language models; and ByteDance China Chairman Zhang Lidong on generative AI, data centers, and algorithm development.
